Tochigi’s Prefectural Bird

The blue-and-white flycatcher is slightly larger than a sparrow and has a vivid emerald back. According to the prefectural website, it migrates from Southern regions in May and then dwells primarily in the Nasu valley, Shiobara and Nikko until early October.
