Delaware’s State Flowers

In 1996, Delaware designated the sweet goldenrod (Solidago odora) its official herb. Several states have adopted two state flowers, usually designating the second the official wildflower. Goldenrods also serve as the state flowers of Alabama, Kentucky and Nebraska.
